Demon Slayer… Misses Out…

Wow, despite its overwhelming popularity, “Demon Slayer” didn’t win…
And the winner was “K-Pop: Demon Hunters.” I watched it too, and it was actually really interesting.
However…
This version is definitely way better!
See… this is cuter, right? ♪

Oh… and this is our office calendar for this year.
Sorry for being a weird old guy… (lol)

I’m planning to start supplying “artificial firewood (briquettes)” to Evo Wood Stove owners gradually starting next season, with a full-scale rollout the season after next.
I’ve been testing them seriously at my own home since January 6th.
I haven’t used any other firewood—just briquettes—for the past week.
My verdict so far is: “Even better than expected.”
It looks so small, but it releases as much energy as three oak logs.
There’s also extremely little soot and ash.
Actually, you have to be careful not to put in too much, or it burns hot enough to potentially damage the stove.
You need to throttle the air intake much more than with conventional wood, and it holds the fire very well.
Because they look so small, I added too many a few times and turned the room into a 34°C scorching hell. (lol)
Well, even though I knew that calculated, it has “about twice the heat value of oak,” you can’t be sure until you actually experience it.
It saves space, burns clean, holds heat well… the only remaining issue is price.
If you look at it over a whole season, it will likely stay within a 10,000 to 20,000 yen increase.
Considering the convenience, practical application is definitely in sight.
Honestly, I’m done with spending two years drying wood and then hauling those damn huge, heavy containers by truck.
It’s too harsh for an old man.
If I’m not going to make a profit anyway, I might as well choose the easier option.
