Nemawashi is for the Weak

A one-story house, about 51 tsubo…
It feels weird to say this since I designed it myself, but…
IT’S HUGE!
Completion is scheduled for May or June.
We will be holding an open house for this site.
Please come and witness my design prowess.
Oh! I’m not the one building it, though.

I’m here for various finishing touches.
But…
While stretching to turn a screw in a high place with a Phillips screwdriver…
I felt something off in my lower back…
Praying it’s nothing serious…

Well, well, Ms. Takaichi. Playing drums in rhythm with the South Korean President, taking him to Horyu-ji Temple to share historical perspectives… she is doing whatever she pleases! (Lol)
On top of that, at the Japan-Korea summit the day before, when the Korean side asked, “Please lend us money,” she apparently thrust their own country’s financial data at them and flatly said, “Not lending you anything ♪”.
Well, well, the Korean President must have gone home with his shoulders slumped after that.
Just when I thought that was it, she declares “Dissolutiooooon!”, and it makes me laugh watching the old media frantically trying to bring Takaichi down.
“We’ll tank her approval rating”—that tactic is actually boosting her popularity, though…
I predicted a dissolution last December, but it got pushed back by a month.
Considering the schedule for the rest of this year, a January dissolution is a down-to-the-wire decision.
Not doing “nemawashi” (groundwork) or “prior consultation,” but deciding on one’s own judgment—that is an important quality for a leader.
Tomorrow, the “Communication Monster” Ms. Meloni is coming.
Since she’s coming on her own birthday, I wonder what kind of hospitality Ms. Takaichi will offer?
Maybe they’ll discuss the name of the next-generation fighter jet being built by Japan, Italy, and the UK while pinching some sushi…
Ah… my back…
